(Taken from pg 63.)
Description: Octavo, 63 pp.
Notes:
"And I liked the book. Malcolm Miller was a transplanted American who was very political - it was the 1960s after all. His poems really grabbed me, and I must have been inspired by them. To save money I did the large headings by Letraset, rubbing the characters down one by one. To save more money, May had the book "typed" in her office on an IBM typewriter. It sounds bad, but it was a new kind of typewriter that had proportional spacing of the letters so that they fitted together to look like type. And they had real type faces such as Times Roman and Helvetica." From Printing - A Lifelong Addiction (Vol. 2a - Montreal). Reprinted with permission. Return to the main Montreal page.
