Each of the images was adapted from a sketch by Hieronymus Bosch, matching the book's "ichthyian and batrachian" themes. With an introduction, quotes accompanying each engraving, and brief biographies of Bosch & Minegishi. Edition of 55 numbered copies signed by the artist. Hand-set in 12-point Bembo, with Shadow for display. Printed in three colors on dampened cotton/flax paper made by Reg Lissel. Engravings printed from the blocks. Bound by Simone Mynen in quarter vellum with printed paper-covered boards. Out of print.
