A biography of the man who designed printing types for Aldus Manutius, assembled using quotations from over 35 contemporary and modern sources. Presented in seven chronologic chapters: Who Was He?; The Aldine Roman; The Greek Fonts; Letra Grifa; The Feud; After Aldus; & His Legacy. With an original wood engraving by Shinsuke Minegishi on the colophon page.

Set by hand in 8-pt Bembo, printed in two colors with a Kelsey 5 x 8 press on dampened Lana Royal. Edition of 32 copies (3.5 x 5 inches, 80 pp.) issued in two states:

Six (numbered I-VI) bound in in full limp vellum by Hélène Francoeur, with a typographic display page added at the back.

Twenty-six (lettered A–Z) sewn on cords and bound in full brown calf by Natasha Herman.
